These
are simply a Cordura nylon covered PVC pipe padded at each
end with 3/4" of hard 4# foam and secured with a #7 YKK
zipper. The zipper cover helps prevent ice build up while
slowing water and dust penetration. Ideal for protecting rods
in their socks during storage or travel. Their popularity
appears linked to our offer to manufacture them to the exact
length that you specify in 7 pipe configurations and 23 color
choices. Currently we make them for flutes, maps, cello bows,
artist-architectural drawings, and a variety of fishing rods.
